Dr Wong Tet Fah, MBBS, FRCS, FRCOphth
Dr Wong is an eminent eye physician
in the field of ophthalmology in Malaysia. He was
a Perak State Undergraduate Scholar in Medicine, and
upon graduation in the late 70s he joined the Government
Medical Services. Dr Wong then left for UK to practice
ophthalmology at the St Bartholomew’s Hospital,
London, and then at Warrington Hospital at Merseyside.
There, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College
of Surgeons, Edinburgh; and Royal College of Ophthalmologist,
UK. He returned to Malaysia in 1987 to be a lecturer
and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Universiti Kebangsaan
Malaysia. As an accomplished surgeon, Dr Wong also
offers laser refractive surgery since the introduction
of Excimer lasers in the mid 90s. He is currently
in private practice and consults at the Wong Eye Specialist
Clinic in KL, and the Subang Jaya Medical Centre.
